FOUR BABIES…SWEET BABY RACCOONS ARE BACK!

Last night we met the babies for the first time! We “think” they belong to Bella, but just cannot be sure. We have not seen Gwinnie this year and fear that she is gone. I hope we are wrong. But, last night there two adult’s & 4 little sweet baby raccoons!!! SWEET BABY RACCOONS are back! We just went outside and they are there now too! So sweet! Makes me smile!

HAD A SWEET VISITOR LAST NIGHT!

I haven’t seen Gwinnie or Bella in many months and I was getting worried about them. Tonight Jerry went outside and Bella was on the ledge of the carport eating the cat’s food. Jerry came in and got me and we quickly got Bella’s dog food & biscuits. She was starving! She has babies somewhere too because she was full of milk. Jerry forgot to put food in her house and she was so hungry she just came to our house to eat! LOL. So sweet…she climbed up and sat on top of the pergola and ate her dog biscuits. Then Jerry walked to her house and started putting food and fresh water in it and before he could turn around there she was! So glad to know my babies are still out there! I wish she would bring us her young. Hopefully we will get to meet them later in the summer! ;-)

SHE’S BAAAAACCCCKKKK!!!!

Bella, who we have not seen since December 24, 2009, made an appearance last night. I went outside to leave food for Gwinnie and her 2 babies and a new raccoon was sitting up in the tree. After she and I stared at one another for about 30 minutes, she came down to the cage to eat. When she got there I realized that it was Bella! Again, I thought she was probably dead by now. We talked and visited for a long time. Then she did her little trick to get down from the second level (it was a trick unique to her) and I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that our little Bell Bell was home! Hopefully she will come back and visit us from time to time. I wish her well and to be safe! Welcome back little Bella!!!!

For the first time this year I had a visit tonight from sweet little Gwinnie. She came back to her old house to eat. I wouldn’t have seen her, but Cole (our dog) did. He, of course, stood at the foot of the tree looking at her. I wasn’t sure if this raccoon was one of our babies so I just started calling names out. When I said “Gwinnie” she started coming down the tree as if to get on my shoulders like she used to do. I took Cole and put him on his cable and by the time I got back to the Coondominium she was already inside eating out of the dogfood bag! ;-) She was sta
